Back in 2020, due to Covid-19 nationwide lockdown, Malaysia's agribusiness supply chain was severely affected because of logistics & distribution disruptions. Farmers had to simply throw away their harvested produce causing losses worth hundreds of thousands.With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture & Food Industries (MAFI), airasia grocer was established to connect farmers directly to businesses. The idea was to leverage airasia's robust digital ecosystem and extensive air & land logistic capability to reduce the gap between the farmers and businesses.Today, we have grown to be a trusted food supply partner for importers, distributors, supermarket chains, hotels, restaurants, central kitchens and NGO's.
